    Average sea temperatures around 81°F to 82°F, ideal for swimming and water activities but not quite Rob’s hot-tub-level-heat.

    Rainfall: April is the driest month in Zihuatanejo, with minimal precipitation. No rainy days.

  • Yes, we recommend bringing your daily spending allotment (food, drinks, trinkets) in Pesos to avoid transaction and processing fees that come with using a credit or debit card.

    Some places do not take cash or cards.

    If you plan on exchanging USD for Pesos in Zihuatanejo, be sure to bring your ID and passport with you to facilitate the exchange.

  • It’s essential to ensure your passport is valid for the entire duration of your stay. 

    While Mexico requires that passports be valid only for the length of the trip, some airlines have strict policies, often requiring at least six months of validity beyond the travel dates.

    Considering that routine passport processing can take 6 to 9 weeks, and expedited services take approximately 3 to 5 weeks, it's recommended that guests check their passport expiration dates and initiate the renewal process at least 4 to 6 months before the wedding. 

    This timeframe ensures ample processing time and accounts for any unforeseen delays.

    Renewal Timeline: Begin the renewal process no later than 4 to 6 months before the wedding to accommodate processing times.

    Airline Policies: Some airlines may enforce stricter passport validity requirements; verify with your carrier to prevent boarding issues.
